As the demand for electrification continues to grow globally, the automotive, aerospace, and defense markets face unprecedented challenges. New technologies are placing greater demands on motors in terms of operating speeds, temperatures, and efficiencies. For example, very large turbine generators are needed to power multiple-wing propellers used on hybrid and electric aircraft.
This 60-minute Webinar examines the importance of optimizing induction motor design for manufacturing. Also discussed are manufacturability pros and cons within the stator and rotor, as well as all the materials and processes that go into making a highly efficient, quality motor, along with a focus on die-cast induction machines.
An audience Q&A follows the technical presentation.
